Comparative history in education is an important branch of science, history of education,history textbooks and curriculum and teaching content is the most significance. In the westernhistory of education in the developed countries, Britain’s history textbook system with a longtradition, the content of the preparation of the unique China history. Based on the history ofBritain China content in the middle school history textbooks for the first hand research data,based on the macro background of British history education and textbook system, summed upthe history textbook of China historical content, depth analysis of its characteristics, in orderto have a reference effect to the curriculum and textbooks of history of modern Chinesehistory reform.This article mainly in three aspects. The first on the one hand, from the aspect of courselearn English curriculum reform, under the macro background, research of concrete object.,from the perspective of the textbook system and version, etc, the paper studies the object,namely the British middle school history textbooks will pick, finally locked in this paper, westudy the main British middle school history textbooks. The second aspect, the content of thetextbook on Chinese history of for the selected for translation, sorting, establish a database.On this basis, the contents of the summary, summarized and quantitative statistics. This articleis a part of the body. The third aspect, sublimation and deepening of the essay. Combinationof china-uk relations and master to the latest education information, relying on the Britishhistory national curriculum standards and the British historians research front, for collecting,sorting and induction of British history textbooks of China history content analysis, thecharacteristics of the present textbooks and the insufficiency, and its characteristics andanalyze the reason for insufficient depth, hope that through this small incision to furtherexplore the beauty of English history teaching, in order to cause the attention of domestichistory education workers and research, promote the development of history education inChina.
