| Mathematics basic idea is widely used in the middle school mathematics teaching, ourcountry’s《Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011edition)》also hasclear requirements for mathematical thought. As one of the most important mathematicalthinking of mathematics basic thoughts, the combination of number and shape ideasthroughout the junior middle school teaching material.This article is based on the junior high school mathematics teaching material (2007-10edition3) as the foundation, which is based on mathematical way of thinking, to improve theunderstanding of the number form combining ideas as the ultimate goal, in conjunction withthe teaching practice of the author in the compulsory education junior middle school stageexperience, introduced the number form combining ideas method embodied in the juniormiddle school mathematics teaching material, the status and role, and editor’s intention ofwriting, aimed at mining analysis methods of several form combining ideas of junior middleschool mathematics teaching material, and as an example to discuss how to study the teachingmaterial, combining with specific cases show the teaching strategies of mathematical thinkingmethod. This article mainly expounds from the following several aspects:(1) the combinationof number and shape ideas of definition, from the connotation of the combination of numberand shape with multiple viewpoints;(2) the perspective of the new curriculum standardanalysis the meaning of the combination of number and shape ideas;(3) through the specificcase, to teaching material contains the combination of number and shape ideas in-depthanalysis and research (Numbers into shapes, shapes into numbers, Numbers and graphicstransformation to each other, this three aspects);(4) the combination of number and shaperole in problem solving;(5) discuss how to analysis and mining the combination of numberand shape ideas in teaching material;(6) ideas in teaching Suggestions;(7) combined withspecific case (Pythagorean theorem) show teaching strategies of mathematical thinkingmethod.This article dig into the combination of number and shape ideas of teaching materialcontains method, in the hope of more mathematics teachers can pay attention to thecultivation of the combination of number and shape ideas method, make students understand contain content the idea behind the method in mathematics knowledge, teach them in ascientific way of thinking to observe social, in order to benefit their life.
