| "Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard (2011)" in the overall goal of the course is pointed out in the "student after learning the stage of compulsory education of mathematic s, to be able to obtain the basic knowledge necessary to adapt to social life, and further development of basic mathematics skills, basic idea and basic activity experience [1]".Compared with the old curric ulum standard the overall goal of the new curriculum standards, clearly pointed out that the students should be able to master the basic thinking method of mathematics, that is to master the mathemati cal results in the formation of mathematical thought and method contains process. So pay attention to the use of mathematics method of thinking in mathematics teaching practice is very necessary."Mathematics is to study the quantitative relations and spatial forms of science", so "number" an d "form" is the two kind of object of mathematics is studied. The combination of number and shap e is applied in secondary school mathematics teaching is one of the most widely used method of mat hematics thought, it will "two number" and "form" to combine the interpretation of mathematics know ledge. "Number" is the abstract summary form; "shape" is the visual display number. The stage of juni or middle school students’ abstract thinking ability is not strong, the abstract understanding of mathem atical knowledge is difficult, so in the mathematical knowledge to explain, we should help students un derstand the abstract mathematical knowledge from the visual image of the model. The number shape union thinking method to apply mathematics knowledge is intuitive and abstract combine the two asp ects, through mutual transformation and the shape of the concrete the abstract problems, complexity, a nd ultimately makes the mathematics problem is well solved, so use of number shape union thinking method in mathematics teaching practice becomes very meaningful.Taking compulsory education mathematics textbook version of East China Normal University (grade 7-9) as an example, combined with the author’s teaching experience, explores in detail the co mbination of number and shape in the junior middle school mathematics teaching effect.The full text includes five parts of contents. This paper first briefly introduces the background a nd the significance of study on combination of number and shape, the related concepts and the com bination of mathematics thinking method and the shape and number of defined; and then discusses t he combination of number and shape the theory foundation of the research, and points out that the c ombination of number and shape of application in teaching conforms to the psychological characterist ics of middle school students use cognitive function in fourth; section through the concrete case careful ly study the number shape union to the junior middle school mathematics teaching; finally the number shape union thinking method teaching and puts forward personal suggestions. |
