A Study On The Culture Environment Function Of College Ideological And Political Education

The cultural environment of ideological and political education has a great impact on the ideological and political education, but in the present time, research and theories related to the subject are rather few, with almost no related academic works or articles in form yet. Research on the subject will not only deepen research on the cultural environment function of college ideological and political education, but strengthen the cultural environment function of college ideological and political education, and thus enhance the effectiveness of college ideological and political education, and promote the comprehensive development of college teachers and students. Based on previous research findings, this study focuses on the following three aspects:Part Ⅰ—Definitions and features of college cultural environment function of college ideological and political education and its research significance. This part, after an interpretation of the concepts of "ideological and political education cultural environment" and "college ideological and political education cultural environment" defines "cultural environment function of college ideological and political education" analyzes the features of and the theoretical and practical significance of the cultural environment function of college ideological and political education.Part Ⅱ—The content of the cultural environment function of college ideological and political education and the challenges in achieving its functions. This part elaborates the four functions the cultural environment of college ideological and political education can perform in college ideological and political education, namely, guiding function, incentive function, shaping function, and cohesive functions. Based on this, we analyzes the five current severe challenges in achieving the cultural environment functions of college ideological and political education, i.e. the impact of social erroneous ideas, interference of college corruption, erosion of poor college party style, hindrance of some negative cultural factors, as well as inhibition of the poor quality of ideological and political teachers in some colleges.Part Ⅲ—Masures to achieve the cultural environment functions of college ideological and political education. This part is the logical end of the thesis, aiming to put forward some measures to overcome the challenges and achieve the cultural environment functions of college ideological and political education. And these measures include:enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education; strengthening the education on the prevention of college corruption; strengthening the building of university leaders’ideological style; fostering advanced college socialist culture; improving the quality of college ideological and political teachers. And it is hoped that, through these measures, the cultural environment of college ideological and political education can generate more beneficial effect on college ideological and political education.
