The term Language Support is from the professional education textbook of Swiss normal College (PHTG).John Clegg has used the term in his paper called Learning Demands and Language Support in EAL. It refers to teacher’s verbal or text instruction used in class teaching process which caters for achieving students language output. Language Support is a teaching tool, an output media as well as a task form. It is usually presented in the form of text task, such as word cards and word cluster for word memorization and output while audio materials and teachers’leading read is called verbal task. This paper studies the text task form for Language Support. And the study is based in Switzerland and Chinese primary school classroom, which conducted from three perceptive. First, explore the differences in text task form between China and Switzerland; second, find out the possibility that the exotic text task form can be adopted in Chinese primary school; last but not least, check the effectiveness of the exotic text task form which is used in Chinese primary school.The results showed that:Swiss primary school English class assignment in the form of text have similar Language Support are also different. Where Language Support in text form China and Switzerland are using voice tongue twisters, phonetic training, chant, pictures auxiliary, story, and word cluster, irreplaceable form, sentence starter, story strips are commonly used in Switzerland and China rarely use the classroom the text task. On frequency of use, word cluster, story strips, irreplaceable form of primary school English class Swiss higher frequency of use, and choose the right answer, and true or false use of a frequency higher Chinese primary school English class. On the use of time, word cluster, word Puzzle mainly in Switzerland classes use, both of which are mainly in the form of homework assignments or quizzes following exercises to be used in Chinese primary school English teaching.Word Cluster and story strips are commonly acceptable by Chinese teachers and students. When introducing the domestic text form for Language Support in to Chinese English class, we found that Switzerland Language Support had a greater impact on the first-class students, and also had a significant effect on Average-class students while almost no impact on the weak students. Using Word Cluster and Word Puzzle can effectively improve students’ speaking and writing output levels.
