| College teachers bear great responsibilities for talent cultivation. The teaching state of a teacher not only concerns the effectiveness of educational practice, but also influences the growth and future of each student profoundly. Therefore, how to motivate college teachers in their teaching has become the key factor in promoting the development of higher education. The study of college teachers’ teaching motivation will promote teachers’ teaching practice as well as improve the management of teachers in higher education. To solve the problem in the current teachers’ teaching motivation, this paper tries to define college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching, based on both the needs of the teacher as an individual and the goals of the university as an organization. The teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation is used to unite the goal of the teacher and the university. The endogenous factors are used to explore the college teachers’ teaching motivation to promote the transformation of endogenous incentives from exogenous ones, to improve teachers’ teaching enthusiasm, and to ensure the quality of talent cultivation in universities.First of all, this paper analyzes the previous research with the method of literature, defines college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching, and expounds the theoretical basis of the college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation. Based on Stephen P. Robbins’ Performance Dimension Theory, there are six dimension of college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation, including teaching interests, teaching capacity, teaching conditions, sense of fairness, value of reward, and teaching system.What is more, questionnaire shows that there exist some problems in current college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation, including fall of teachers’ teaching quality, poor motivation of enjoyment of teaching, and teachers’ utilitarian thought. In-depth analysis indicates that the main reasons for these problems are the lack of mechanism to promote teachers’ civilization, to incent teachers’ teaching, and the deterioration of the environment of college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation.In the end, college teachers’ enjoyment of teaching motivation system is designed to promote college teachers’ teaching motivation. Performance centered, the countermeasures are the promotion of the teachers’teaching quality, the improvement of teaching motivation system, and the cultivation of the environment of teaching and education. |
