Rural martial art is an important component of Chinese traditional culture, which hasthe cultural elements producing many important changes in social changes in modern times.The social structure, social hierarchy and the social class have taken place great changes inchina since modern times. The development of rural martial art and social change form aspecific logical relationship with the change of the society in such a social background. Themartial art and social interaction will promote the development of martial art, also affects thedevelopment of martial art. Similarly, the martial art also has a certain influence on thedevelopment of the society thereby produced some typical of the martial art society in thespecific social area. The early spread and practicing Chinese martial art is under thebackground of agricultural civilization, and the country became the main places for theChinese rural martial art dissemination and development. Xingyi quan is one of therepresentatives of Chinese martial art, which has a very important position in the history ofChinese martial art especially in the developing course in modern times, and it is the excellentboxing in this specific area of Shanxi Province. Thus Xingyi quan with countryside and withthe formation and development of rural martial art society form a corresponding logicrelationship. Taigu County serving as the birthplace of Xingyi quan becomes a small martialart society in a sense, which is the product of Xingyi quan and social interaction. It is the basisand the fundament of this study. Based on this, to explore the logical relationship betweenShanxi Xingyi quan and the rural society, and to explore its internal occurrence anddevelopment and to explore the interactions between Shanxi Xingyi quan and society in socialchange view, which not only can provide a specific case study of boxing for the developmentof Chinese martial art, but also can provide a new thinking path for the whole development ofChinese martial art. The basic concept of this study is to explore the social development of martial art and thelogic social interaction between martial art and country society through the microscopic viewof social development and the concrete analysis of the micro social phenomena. This studytries to clarify the development of Xingyi quan in this specific geographic areas-TaiguCounty through the perspective of national culture and it use history, geography, culture andother related disciplines theory to explore the formation and development of TaiGu ruralmartial art society. This study analyzed the basic context development of Taigu Countymartial art since modern times referring to the basic studies in anthropology, folklore andchoosing Taigu County as empirical study case by the method of field survey, oral finishingand the literature research. It reveal the social change impact on activity content, crowdcharacteristics, martial art organization form, active procedure and the motivation of kung fuin Taigu County since modern times respectively from the natural environment, socialstructure, social politics, economy, education and so on different level. Which to see theMartial art cultural heritage overview in the perspective of social change since modern times.The results of the study think that the social factors affecting the development of Xingyiquan mainly include the social structure change, economic development and education factorsand other factors through the social interaction in Taigu County Xingyi quan and rural martialart.Firstly, the special geographical environment breeds special boxing. Taigu County is oneof the important financial center in China and has developed economy and has a strongdemand on martial art after the qing dynasty. The development of Xingyi quan and the socialdevelopment of Taigu County form the basic pattern to promote each other. the developmentof Xingyi quan promote the initial shape of the rural martial art society and The formation anddevelopment of rural martial art society laid a solid foundation for the further development ofXingyi quan.Secondly, China’s modern political system during the period of chaos and constantly warmake the traditional social structure has had the fundamental change which has differenteffects on the development of Xingyi quan. Xingyi quan formed the different transmissionpath and its transmission way and range have taken place great changes under the backgroundof the changing society. Xingyi quan promote the change of social structure at the same timeadapting to rural social changes of martial art.Thirdly, the continuous development of the economy promotes the transformation of rural martial art society. On the one hand, the process of the ontology development of Xingyiquan is restricted by economic factors; On the other hand the development of Xingyi quanalso promoted the economic development to a certain level, and has formed a bidirectionalinteraction logical relation with economic development.Finally, the introduction of modern education mode makes the culture of Shanxi TaiguCounty this region presents diversity, prompting rural martial art society had a significantchange, and directly react on martial art activities in a particular region and has produced themartial art culture characteristics in TaiGu County. The transformation of traditional educationto modern education to promote the spread of Xingyi quan, promote the moderntransformation of the martial art. At the same time, Xingyi quan has become one of the majorsports curriculums in Taigu County in primary and secondary schools, also has opened up anew path for education especially physical education, and promote the development ofeducation undertakings.Above all, the development of Xingyi quan, rural martial art and rural martial art societyare closely linked.
