The Investigation And Research On The Use Of Senior Math Textbook Samples

Hubei is a large educational province, and its high school curriculum reform implementation plan (Trial) implements in July2009. In the current stage of deepening of curriculum reform, investigating the use of textbook for teachers and students is very far-reaching significance.This study selects the use of People’s Education press A samples in mathematics textbook of senior middle school as the breakthrough point, adopting literature research, questionnaire, interview, to learn teachers and students’understanding and use about the samples. It will provide some comments and feedback for the writing and use.In literature research, we count up related data of25cases in High school Teaching Standard and Cases, which is one of mathematical research results of high school curriculum reform project---the new curriculum classroom effective teaching subject research, published by Hubei education publishing house.Questionnaire selects three different education level of schools in Wuhan, to survey the teachers and students’awareness and use of textbook samples in each school.Interview selects several teachers from those schools to understand those teachers’ use of samples in mathematics textbook from seven areas.Study conclusions:Students are not take enough understanding and full use of samples in mathematics textbook. Teachers can recognize the importance of samples in mathematics textbook but don’t do it in practical.Research proposals:Suggestions for the textbook writers:Increase the variety of professional textbook writers,enhance the development and construction of supporting resources, focus on the feedback of textbooks’forthputting.Suggestions for teachers:strengthen their theoretical training, update their concepts.teachers should properly guide students how to read and use of textbooks.Suggestions for students:Strengthen the capacity of self-awareness and regulation and correctly understand materials.Suggestions for the education authority:ameliorate education system and change evaluation methods.
