From the perspective of personality psychology, this paper discusses how to shape high school students’ healthy personality by ancient poetry teaching. Firstly from the classroom teaching code, evaluation methods and students’ personality status three aspects,analyze the present situation of students’ personality and their causes, and through the classroom teaching code, Eysenck personality questionnaire and the language of Hubei province college entrance examination paper investigation, reveals high school Chinese teaching problems existing in the education for student personality cultivation.Secondly, from self-awareness, way of thinking, behavior mode three aspects, investigate how to teach in the modern Chinese textbooks for high schools, and how to combine students personality cultivation with the three dimensions.This paper expounds how to help students to shape a sound personality in modern teaching, combining with the ordinary high school Chinese course standard (experiment)", the modern title in Chinese textbooks for high schools are classified, based on the characteristics of different genre, feasible teaching plans, to put theory into practice as much as possible.
