Based on humanistic psychology and the theories of humanistic education, combining with the development and the demanding of the contemporary society, this thesis examines and explores the prose of Pre-Qin thinkers construction on the meaning of "human"; then, to construct the high school student "human" character as the goal, points out the existing problems in the teaching of high school in the Pre-Qin prose, and propose innovative methods for prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers on this basis, hoping that the prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers can keep pace with the times and lay the foundation for the formation of good character to help the middle school students adjust themselves to the development of society.This thesis consists of4parts. The foreword is made up of theoretical basis and research background. It also gives the brief introduction to the theory and concept involved in this thesis, pointing out the feasibility of using humanism as the theoretical basis in this research. The relationship between humanism and Chinese subject is also given a brief introduction in this thesis. The main thesis includes3parts. First, it is necessary to carry through humanism in the prose teaching procedure of Pre-Qin thinkers Teachers and students in high school are in sore need of the teaching reform regarding the prose of Pre-Qin thinkers. The prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers should be adopted to the need of the contemporary society because material flooding^moral decay^psychological imbalance and mental collapse do exist in reality. What’s more, it is a trend of the New Curriculum Reform. And it points out that teachers and students are in urgent need of the reform for the prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers. Second, the valuable discovery of Pre-Qin thinkers’prose humanism under the humanistic perspective. The prose of Pre-Qin thinkers clear position and influence in the history of Chinese culture first, the prose of Pre-Qin thinkers literary paradigm、philosophy and aesthetics had a profound impact on future generations, is the origin of the Chinese national spirit. Then it mainly takes PEP senior high school Chinese elective "Pre-Qin Selected Readings" for example, we should dig the characteristics from the perspective of humanism, which is formed from student character formation and spiritual growth:learn to love; pursue spiritual freedom and individuality real; take a responsibility of social、national and personal, courage to face ordeal in adversity, keep a clear mind in prosperity. Thus it points out to build good character for students by prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers, to build a real sense of "human"——Love, self and serving person, to integrate into society while maintaining self and can live with ease in contradiction of the individual and society. Third, the status of Pre-Qin thinkers’ prose teaching and strategy of humanistic education. It points out the existing problem in the prose teaching of Pre-Qin thinkers from three aspects of value orientation, teaching materials and teaching methods, and puts forward the idea of teaching strategy so that others may come up with valuable opinions.The prose of Pre-Qin thinkers is truest and purest materials in our traditional culture, occupies a large proportion of classical Chinese teaching in high school. If we effectively explore their modern meaning and value, and keep pace with the times to integrate into daily teaching, it has the influence like life-giving spring breeze to construct "human" of high school students.
