The teaching of prose by Pre-Qin thinkers can improve students' understanding of the fine traditional Chinese culture,and is of great significance to enhance students' sense of identity and pride in Chinese culture.However,due to the changes in the selection of texts and styles of the new textbooks,as well as the requirements for core Chinese literacy in the new curriculum standards and the organization of teaching with "learning task groups",teachers often face difficulties in the process of teaching.Based on the requirements of the task group of "study of Chinese traditional culture classics " in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017Edition,revised in 2020),this paper investigates the current situation of the teaching of prose by Pre-Qin thinkers,and finds that teachers are good at exploring the ideological connotation of prose written by Pre-Qin thinkers in the teaching process,and pay attention to the background of the times and the introduction of the author.However,there are still problems such as insufficient appreciation of expression art,single teaching mode,and lack of prominent features of "study".After learning the prose of the thinkers,students have basic classical Chinese reading experience,and have a better understanding of the thoughts of the pre-Qin thinkers,but still lack the ability of independent thinking and inquiry.In order to deepen students' understanding of the root of traditional Chinese culture,this paper summarizes the principles of teaching prose by Pre-Qin thinkers for this task group on the basis of the current situation investigation,in accordance of the curriculum standards,and clarifies the study of prose by Pre-Qin thinkers based on core literacy.The content includes the inheritance of humanistic spirit,the cultivation of speculative ability,and aesthetic sense.Besides,this paper centers on the practices of teaching Chinese,and clarifies the specific strategies for carrying out study activities,such as deepening students' understanding of the cultural connotation and language characteristics of prose by Pre-Qin thinkers by emphasizing reading and expanding reading,The forms of study can be enriched through activities like making cards about classical Chinese knowledge,lectures on pre-qin thinkers' thoughts and writing short literary comments.And student's interest in study can be aroused by setting problem situations through linking social events with students' daily life.Finally,it pays attention to the evaluation of study results,so as to promote the development of students and implement the core literacy of Chinese subjects.
