In China modern institutions of higher education, The Chinese Christian University was run by western missionary and came to China along with colonialism. After the beginning of20th century to the middle of the joint and development, the Christian University increasingly became a leading university in China and exit from Chinese history in the department adjustment in1952. In more than half a century development, the western higher education idea, management system, curriculum system and teaching methods were introduced into China, that objectively lead the development of early Chinese higher education.Since the1980s, the Chinese historians, education historians, social and cultural scholars had researched the church university from the describing history, negative or positive impact, or the single church university as a case study in the perspectives of culture, education and other subject,which achieved fruitful research results. For example, the development of church university of China was recognized in three stages "secularization, normalization. Chinese style ".However, when we analyze the three stages from the perspective of curriculum theory, we will have so much meaningful new discovery:curriculum theory is the effectiveness discipline to research between the knowledge of sociology and education of sociology, under the different political environment, the different social stages, different school education target orientation and knowledge selection and organization discipline. In discipline consciousness to express the most classic is community known as the "what is the most valuable knowledge?" And "whose knowledge is the most valuable?".With the interpretation analysis tool of the "curriculum theory ", we will find that in three different stages, the education target orientation and expression of Christian university had experienced obviously changes, from the initial for spread the Gospel to ultimately for China social service; At the same time, as the main means to implement these changes, the knowledge selection and organization had the corresponding adjustment, so the corresponding course system had reformed. But no matter how to change, the essential attribute of the church university determines inevitably the religious, the west, the cultural output of its knowledge selection and course system, which conflict with the independent need of the "China" as a "national". The nature of this kind of contradiction and conflict detennines that the church university will be vanished in China, because only when the education target. knowledge selection, and curriculum provision meets the needs of national political, social, the university will develop and expand. Of course, the political theories of the university will crisis the real progress of national states and the development of the national ration. Only when the target selection, the knowledge selection and curriculum system of the university contract to national political, civil society, students and parents all stakeholders such as demand, in this way the university can interact with national progress and social improvement and survive firmly,develop healthy. It is very meaningful to analysis and research the Church University from the vision of curriculum theory.I will try to research from the Angle of curriculum theory to analysis the change, the source, the selection of curriculum content of the church university, and how to measure at different stages. Then we will achieve some suggestions to the curriculum reform of our country present comprehensive research university. The full text is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction part, puts forward the research purpose, this paper summarizes the current research status at home and abroad, introduces the research content and the method, the relevant concepts defined. The second and third chapter is the analysis of the development, properties, education goal, and spreading knowledge respectively for the church university. The fourth and fifth chapter respectively analysis the education goals of the church university in different periods from the angle of horizontal and vertical. Finally in the sixth chapter, through the summary of the previous chapters, we can have the eventually die enlightenment and reflection of the church university.
