In the "Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)" clearly put forward to improve the quality of Undergraduate education, Improve the training of innovative talents. Chinese Research University must take up the responsibility and mission of the Undergraduate Education because of their high level of academic talent training base. Ministry of Education, in response to "Qian of the question" and start the "Everest plan", China’s top research universities respond positively to the call and establish pilot of training innovative talents to create favorable conditions for the growth of innovative talent. Such as:Peking University "Yuan Pei Program", Beijing Normal University "Reed farming Talents Training Program", Shandong University "Taishan School’. However, these reforms effect are not significant, there is a great gap with the developed countries of Europe and the United States in the training of undergraduate sense of innovation, the spirit of innovation and practical ability. Cultivating innovative talents is a system project. Social political system, economic status, and cultural development, The management of the university, school environment, training mode, etc., need to be actively give support and cooperation.Research university undergraduate educational goals and curriculum reform is reasonable or not is safeguard to protect the quality of undergraduate education, and also is the research university undergraduate education starting point and destination. In this paper I selects undergraduate education goals and curriculum reform which are two important factors that impact the training of innovative talents. Based on literature research, historical research and case study to study the relationship between the American research university undergraduate education goals target the rheological and curriculum reform. Enrich and develop our research universities in the improvement of the quality of undergraduate education, as well as the cultivation of innovative talents in theory, in practice, cultivating innovative talents for our research universities reform provide a reference. The text is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction (Chapter1):Questions, and introduces the research background, significance, and summarizes the research status at home and abroad, as well as related concepts defined.The second part is the main body portion (Chapter2.3.4.5). Discusses the relationship between the American research university undergraduate education goals rheological and curriculum reform. Chapter2analysis the composition of the American research university undergraduate education goals, characteristics, sources, and concrete. In the chapter3introduce the background of the American research university curriculum reform curriculum reform conditions, as well as the characteristics of the curriculum reform. The fourth chapter in a historical perspective parsing the history of the relationship between the American research university undergraduate education goal rheological and curriculum reform. Chapter5, select Harvard University, Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the vertical^horizontal to show the relationship between research universities undergraduate educational goals and curriculum reform more specific.The third part is the enlightenment part (Chapter6), Mainly discusses the enlightenment of U.S. research universities in the relationship between the undergraduate education goals rheological and curriculum reform in order to enlighten the current research universities in China cultivating innovative talents.
