As a large agricultural country, China attaches great importance to the "threerural issues" and has been put it on the top of the work. The development ofvocational education in agriculture is a key initiative to solve the problems ofagriculture, countryside and farmers. With the development of modern agriculture andnew rural construction, the development of agricultural vocational education of ourcountry has been put forward the new requirements, building modern agriculturevocational education system is very important. At present, China’s vocationaleducation system of agriculture is not yet perfect, and there are some problems. Japanand Korea across the sea of our country, both belonging to the Asian economic circle,the degree of modernization of agriculture and agricultural vocational education levelis higher than China. So to study Japan and Korea’s modern vocational educationsystem of agricultural has certain reference on improving China’s agriculturalvocational education system.This paper uses literature research, comparative study, historical research, themacro-cause analysis and other research methods study Japan and Korea’s modernagricultural system for vocational education, and lift enlightenments to the modernagricultural vocational education system of our country. This paper is divided intothree parts, the first to explore and reveal the structure of agricultural vocationaleducation system in Japan and Korea, specifically including their historical trends,component’s system, management system. Lay the theoretical foundation for thestudy of the development of agricultural vocational education system. Second,summarized the administration and organizational characteristics of Japan andKorea’s Agricultural Vocational Education System, analysis the main supportingfactors of agricultural vocational education system such as the agricultural vocationaleducation-related policies and laws, and agricultural education funding guaranteemechanism, agricultural science and technology service system to identify theadvantages and successful experience. Thirdly, on the basis of the early analysis, and combines with our vocational education system in the practical problems ofagricultural development, this paper points out seven countermeasures, permeatingagricultural vocational education in general education, implementating the core offarmers and agricultural workers green qualification certificate system, launchingfemale education in rural areas, expanding agriculture-related fields, increasingagricultural vocational education funding,improving the agricultural science andtechnology information service system, and improving agricultural vocationaleducation-related laws, regulations and policies.
