Since the new curriculum reform, education circle pay close attention to students’ individual life development, calling for the transformation of teacher’s role to be a sincere listener, understanding students’inner voice. Advocating dialogue teaching in Chinese means requiring teachers to listen while teaching, listening to students’ personal reading experience and their diverse interpretation of text. In the process of equal dialogue, teachers can open their own spiritual world to meet different and unique thoughts and construct a new spiritual world. But the teaching practice still focus on teaching and the laclu alienation and generalization of listening is a common phenomenon. So this essay aims at analyzing teachers’listening behavior of elementary schools and make comparision between the novice and the experts to find out the reason why there is deletion of listening and try to put forward the reasonable optimization strategy.The essay compare different behaviors between the novices and experts in three stages of listening using case analysis and comparative research. It turns out that when in the receiving process of listening, novice teachers tend to show arbitrariness when choosing objects and have partiality for whiz kid. Novice teachers often listen to the content they are looking forward to and reject other contents and they do not pay enough attention for students’reading. They blindly choose the opportunity of listening so that miss listening in students’cooperative learning and discussion. When it comes to understanding, novice teachers’level of series and ability to explain is much lower than the experts so it is obvious that novice teachers don’t understand the students thoroughly. In the responding stage of listening novice teachers listen in an approach of low level and focus the attention on themselves.The author used the method of interviewing to investigate and analyze the factors influencing teachers’listening and summarized these factors into teachers, students and courses.On the basis of analyzing the reason why teachers miss listening, the author optimized the strategy of listening for Chinese teachers in primary school, using literature research method, in order to help the first-line teachers change the listening idea into practical teaching behavior.
