"Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standards (2011edition)" conforms to the curriculum reform of the international education environment. The biggest change increases50important concepts in the ten topics of the course content, which provides directional guidance to build effective biological class. In the curriculum standard revision background, the biology teachers should try to explore the teaching method which is helpful for students to grasp the important concepts.Deep learning is an important concept in the theory of learning. Compared to the surface learning which accepts knowledge mechanically and negatively and stores information in isolation, deep learning emphasizes the learners to study through understanding and learn new knowledge positively. Deep learning also needs students to put new knowledge into their original cognitive structure and migrate the existing knowledge to the new situation to make decisions and solve practical problems. The new biology curriculum standard requires students to participate in the learning process more actively and develop the ability of lifelong learning. So students in-depth study of biology has a certain significance.On the basis of the reviews of the important concept and deep learning, the study focus on the relevant contents about the important concepts in the compulsory education biology curriculum standard. It also explains the position of the important concepts in the classroom teaching. On the other hand, the study expounds the connotation and characteristics of deep learning and analyses the factors of hindering the students to deep learning, by comparing the difference between the deep learning and the surface learning.The students require certain deep learning in biology, by listing the relationship between the biology characteristics, important concepts and the deep learning. The on the basis of the characteristics about deep learning and the factors hindering deep learning, designing a questionnaire survey to investigate the deep learning situation of junior middle school students in biology class.The survey results suggest that the conduct of deep learning is not ideal. So it is necessary to study on the in-depth study about biologically important concepts in junior high school. According to the results of the questionnaire and deep learning theory, the study trys to build and expound the general process of deep learning. It includes the pre-assessment, activating the original knowledge, acquisition and deep processing the new knowledge, evaluation and reflection. Implement the deep learning of important concepts to the chapter of the green plant life. Then the paper analyzes the achievements of the experimental and comparative classes, in order to text the effectiveness of the process about the deep learning. Experiment proves the certain feasibility of the constructing process about the deep learning.
