"Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)" conforms to the direction of international science education development and reform,clearly shows the biology curriculum "emphasizes active inquiry learning" and "highlight the important concept of transmission" teaching requirements,highly concerned about the docking of inquiry learning and concept building,to provide specific guidance for teachers to grasp the teaching focus and requirements,improve teaching efficiency and raise the teaching reform platform to a new height.In this study,the literature research method,survey method and experiment method are used to study the present teaching situation and teaching strategy of the important concepts of junior high school biology,and provide theoretical support and practical guidance to frontline teachers.First of all,on the basis of the research on inquiry learning and important concept teaching,on the one hand,it mainly introduces the relevant contents of active inquiry and important concepts in the new curriculum of compulsory education in China,and explains the exploratory learning and important concepts.On the other hand,from the biological characteristics and the relationship of important concepts and inquiry learning,illustrate that students in the process of learning the important concepts of biology need to conduct exploratory learning.On the basis of this,the questionnaire was designed to investigate the exploratory teaching of the important concept of junior middle school students in Suzhou.The results showed that the inquiry learning of important concepts was not ideal.The main problems were focused on the teachers' ability to organize inquiry learning is limited,teachers lack of understanding of the important concepts of biology,the lack of systematic and effective concepts of inquiry-based teaching strategies.Combined with the results of the questionnaire survey and related theories,try to construct the strategies and general processes of the important concept teaching based on inquiry learning,including the creation of the situation to stimulate the motivations,to guide the research,to summarize the concept,to contact life and apply concepts,and implement it in the course of teaching.The paper analyzes the performance data of the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment,the students' interest in learning,attitudes,inquiry learning ability and so on,to verify the teaching strategy and process.The results show that this study is feasible and effective.This study has gained experience in better implementation of active inquiry and important conceptual transmission of docking,implementation of curriculum requirements and teaching objectives.
