Research On The Social Changes Of The Mongolian Herdsmen Settlement In Subei

Long-splendid history and culture of Mongolian make a great contribution to the unique characteristics of the nomadic culture of Chinese culture. With the impact of globalization, the way of Mongolian traditional nomadic life is in new and rapid development process of change. In the course of urbanization, the settlement of herdsman cause lots of social problem. The degree of herdsman settlement in Gansu province is at the top of whole country, but there are still many problems. The herdsman settlement courses only pay attention to the change of life style and the improvement of living standards, while ignoring the change of traditional grassland animal agricultural production pattern. Changing the traditional way of grassland animal agricultural production and realizing it’s industrialization is an effective way to solve the herdsman settlement. Based on the field work in Mongolian Autonomous County of Subei, this paper interprets the course of settlement, the changes in social life of Mongolian nomads at Subei and the existing problem in the process. At the same time it analyzes the reason and tries to put forward the measures and suggestions to solve the problem.
