With the rapid development of China’s socio-economic, the needs of dangerous goodsespecially liquefied petroleum gas is on the increase year by year, LPG production and usagearea are generally not together. This requires to transport by road, rail and other modes oftransport. Many Intermediate links of the railway transportation of liquefied petroleum gas,and high technical difficulty, and deal with higher requirements for special railway line, so therisk of railway transport liquefied petroleum gas is also higher. Therefore, to deal withliquefied petroleum gas railway transportation safety status quo of comprehensive analysis,Intuitive understanding of the special railway line to deal with the risk of liquefied petroleumgas has very important significance. The papers on the analysis of the domestic and international transport of liquefiedpetroleum gas safety status and related technical conditions, mainly from the dangers ofphysical and chemical properties of the liquefied petroleum gas and transportation process toproceed, safety technical conditions of the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas, as wellas special railway line (special railway line) technical equipment, management systems, andtraffic volume through the line, comprehensive analysis of various risk factors of the railwaytransportation of liquefied petroleum gas, and comprehensive analysis of the combination ofthe existing railway private line transport of dangerous goods safety evaluation factors createtargeted and more comprehensive LPG rail transport safety status evaluation index system.Evaluation index system based on the safety of railway transportation of liquefied petro leumgas status quo created, using BP neural network model, and the model using L-M method doto improve, create more optimized neural network model, using neural network toolbox inMATLAB software evaluation procedure of the neural network model to evaluation liquefiedpetroleum gas transportation safety status. The final application of the trained networkinstance by line analysis to verify the usefulness of the model.
