| WiMeida Ultra-wideband(UWB) is a short-range and high-speed communicationstechnology designed by the WiMedia Alliance and other organizations,UWB has widebandwidth, highcommunication rate and low radiated power. The WiMedia UWB criteriaincludes the specification of PHY sublayer and MAC sublayer. UWB MAC layer protocol isa fully distributed network protocol. It support self-organized networking. On the basis ofUWB technology, WiMedia Alliance also designe WLP(WiMedia Logical Link ControlProtocol) to fit UWB MAC layer and the IP network layer. By using WLP standard, we couldrealize IP over UWB. TCP/IP protocol stack has the advantage of excellent IP routing designand low overhead. Plenty of network applications are developed based on the TCP/IP protocolstack. By using WLP technology, ultra-broadband network device could carry most of currentnetwork applications. Compared with existing short-range wireless communicationstechnology, WLP technology can be used in the intensive, short-range and high-speedwireless access. IT also can applied in high-speed Internet of Things occasions and etc. WLPwireless communication system has relatively good prospect for practical application.The thesis research wireless communication systems based on the WLP technology. TheWLP network protocol stack is developed on the basis of the open source project luwb.Itrealize a WLP technology-based, multi-point and self-organizing wireless communicationnetwork.The major work of this thesis is as follows:1. Detailed analysis of the WLP1.0protocol and WLP network protocol stack of opensource project luwb.2. By analyzing open source project and captured packet, the multi-point connectionproblem of WLP network protocol stack is fixed. A WLP-based, multi-point andself-organizing wireless communication network is realized.3. By Modifing the underlying driver interface, the WLP network protocol stack istransported to the Linux kernel2.6.28or later.4.
