Design And Implementation Of Laboratory Information Management System Based On B/S

The laboratory is an integral part of college and the important base for teaching,students experiment, and innovative design. To analysis the related message of theLaboratory comprehensively and manage it is both the need of laboratory managementand the need to improve teaching quality and efficiency of laboratory information. So itis necessary to design the laboratory information management system of our university’sengineering training center.The entire system development process is in accordance with the ideas andmethods of software engineering, covers requirement analysis, outline design, detaileddesign, coding, software testing, system maintenance and other processes. Thefunctional modules of the system consists of laboratory elective appointmentmanagement, lab reports submitted by the management, the experimental performancemanagement, experiment, question bank management, online teaching assessment andmanagement, Laboratory’s integrated Information management functions mainly and soon.This thesis adopts the popular B/S architecture, analyses and design each functionmodule of the system developed..NET platform of Visual Studio2005is adopted indevelopment environment, dynamic webpage programming is based on ASP.NETTechnology, Database management system uses Microsoft Corp SQL Server2000andsystem analysis and modeling uses Power Designer9.5, and achieves the mangement ofsystem’s course selection, performance, information, message and other functions. Thesystem can set corresponding authority for different users, The system can setcorresponding authority for different users and so the users can access the relevant datarights within the scope of authority, query and manage and their associated content, itsadvantages are conducive to the development and maintenance of systems, and itgreatly improves the safety of the system. The construction of the system can provideeffective management means for the laboratory management and teaching management,reduce the workload of the Administrators greatly, improve the work efficiency.
