Office Automation System is a new and convenient mode of office,which developedwith Internet and Web technology, widely used in each field of the society. Application of theOffice Automation System can change the traditional office model, enhance the corecompetitiveness of enterprises, and improve the efficiency of office.Based on the analysis of present situation and basic office network environment ofZhongyuan Oilfield Fire Brigade, according to the needs of its special industries, We designeda set of Office Automation System based on ASP.NET technology. The system mainly usesASP.NET technology, B/S three-tier architecture, SQL Server2005database and ADO.NETtechnology. The front-end development language is mainly HTML and JavaScript, thebackstage code written in C#. This paper discusses the significance and current situation ofthe construction of Office Automation System, and compares the mainstream technology ofthe development of office automation system, describing the main technologies developmentadvantage of system construction. In addition, it presents the overall design of the system,also gives the database design and the realization process of the system function module, suchas Information management, key enterprises management, the rescue plan management,equipment management, log management, training management and system management.Finally, it introduces some strategies for the security of the Office Automation Systemadopted in the design and development process.Ever since half a year ago when the system was operated for trail, the consumption ofoffice supplies has been reduced, while the office efficiency has been improved with a largerange. It is further realized remote office and paperless office, providing a new technicalmeans for the information construction of Zhongyuan Oilfield Fire Brigade.
