Manufacturing execution system is a rapidly development technology in recent ten years on the international, facing to the workshop production management technology and the real-time information system. It is the bridge that undertaking the upper plan management and the control of bottom for information Communication, it acts as the coordinator for information communication between the Shop Floor Control (SFC) and Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) management system, it can also help the SFC in MES and ERP implementation, etc of all kinds of information,to realize information sharing to form the optimization of process Control, the optimization of decision and optimization scheduling and the execution of the decision. At home,most enterprises Management itself by the implementation of ERP system and workshop production automation system, however, there is a "fault" between upper plan management and the control of bottom,which greatly restricted the enterprise information sharing, making it difficult to realize the information communication.Now more and more companies decided to implement MES to solve this situation.In this paper,we will make research and practice about the use of MES in the motor manufacturing companies according to the actual needs of enterprises.Due to the multi-channel processes in the production process of the motor manufacturing enterprises, and the dynamic changeable process technology, it needs us to set the reasonable effective means of monitoring the production process,ensuring the upper plan to be implemented successfully. Based on the analysis of the industry background of motor manufacturing enterprise, combined with the company requirements of the project, the paper demonstrates the urgent needs of implementation of MES, has been clear about the positioning of MES system in the enterprise information management.In deep understanding and research on MES system of the basic system structure, combined with the actual production and project requirements, the overall framework of MES system has been analyzed and designed, and division of the main functional modules of MES system and functional description.The data acquisition module of MES system has carried on the detailed analysis and design, puts forward the wireless sensor network data acquisition scheme based on ZigBee technology, and a description of database entity relationship related to the data acquisition module.
