As the Internet technology continues to develop and improve,theproportion of older age groups who are using internet is rising. Aselderly user groups have specific psychological and behavioralcharacteristics, when they use the complex Internet products, they willhave cognitive load inevitably. As the result of this the older age groupsusing experience will be reduced.Psychological research results indicate that implicit memory playsimportant role in reducing cognitive load and unconscious learningprocess. This paper will start with the older users’ implicit memory. Putthis psychological concept of implicit memory in elderly websiteInteractive design. This project analyses the older age groups’characteristics,such as physiological characteristics, psychologicalcharacteristics and behavior. On this basis summed up the designprinciples and interaction design methods.The author put these theoriesinto design practice to test the feasibility of these theories.The practiceprove the Importance of implicit memory in old people webdesign.These theories can bring old people deeper emotional solaceand enhance their satisfaction of internet product greatly.
