With the evolution of the Internet, telecommunications networks and broadcastnetworks to Next Generation Network.Video interoperability iss ues becomeincreasingly pro mine nt.In numerous coding standard,H.264with efficie ntcompress ion and good network adaptability has been the most wide ly used. SinceH.264standard specifies only the bitstream syntax and decoding method does notspecify a specific video codec imp le mentation, resulting in the ma ny c urrent H.264manufacturers, variety of products, the co mmunicatio n interface is not uniform. Inadditio n, the type of the user terminal, by the type of network, co mmunicationsigna ling tec hniq ues used are also different. This paper focuses on the SIP-basedH.264video gateway to comp lete the work of the following aspect s:First, the introduction of the SIP protocol, SIP message, SIP negotiationmecha nis m and Java open source SIP protocol stack Jain SIP, unified communicationsby contro l the generation and parsing of the co mmand us ing the SIP protocol, in orderto achieve the signa ling leve l Accessib le Unicom.Second, the introduction of the structure of H.264codec, H.264video streamstructure, RTP/RTCP based real-time video transmiss io n mecha nis m. Phase separationof interface and imp le mentation in accordance with the phase separation of ca llcontro l and business process, to meet the gateway multi-protocol adaptation needs.Third, in order to identify d ifferent H.264codec, using the both SDP and XMLmessage body to media negotiatio n to generate a unified contro l messages. The type ofH.264coding a nd decoding sc he me is independent to each other, a ll modules interactthrough interfaces and protocols. This thes is describes the overall architecture, software architecture of H.264video gateway.Given the detailed design o f the s igna ling contro l module, trans miss ionmodule and H.264video processing module.Based on the Open Service GatewayInitiative fra mework imp le ments signa ling module, media service module, configuratio n service module, and applicatio n manage me nt module, feas ibility andvalid ity of the design is proved by test.
