| With the constant progress of science and technology, microwave communication technology and optical communication technology have made rapid development. Using terahertz (THz) wave between microwave and millimeter wave for wireless transmission, the rate can get to lOGb/s. Because of its great transmission capacity, wide frequency band, good penetrability, high confidentiality, and strong anti-interference ability and other characteristics, terahertz communication has attracted much attention in recent years. For the THz communications, information coding and modulation technique is crucial and the development is of great significance in the future.First, the THz wave propagation model in the atmospheric channel was established based on Liebe microwave transmission theory in this thesis, and the effects of different weather conditions (sunny, clouds, rain) on THz wave transmission was simulated. Then the text presented the THz wave application in communication systems combined with digital technology, and gave the common THz communication device model, such as mixer, filter, etc. In detail, the modulation part of THz communication was studied and the16Q AM and QPSK modulation performance was analyzed. THz communication system model was established using Matlab simulink toolbox under the THz wave transmission channel, the influence of the transmission power, rate and BER was given according to the different modulation method. |
