Research On Information System And Key Technology For Railway Multi-product Enterprises

For the purpose of well-balanced development of information system for railway multi-product Enterprises and comprehensive utilization of existing information resources, an information platform adaptable to the need of diversification should be established, which can achieve information sharing, optimize business process, boost the development of logistics, commerce and trade, tourism, ticket service and advertising, improve managerial and administrative expertise, and enhance market competitiveness.This thesis elaborates the necessity to establish information system for railway multi-product Enterprises by analyzing the research background of establishment of information system for railway multi-product Enterprises and development of logistics information at home and abroad.The business of railway multi-product Enterprises is the core of such a system and studies of user requirements are conducted on different levels through adequate site surveys and experts’discussion. The content needed by the information system for railway multi-product Enterprises is presented after the sorting out and rational analysis of the demand of the Ministry of Railway, railway bureaus and enterprises. The framework design of the system in respect to the system framework, logic framework, physical framework and technical framework is introduced. The framework design of the system network is introduced as well so that a safe information interaction between the information system for the railway multi-product Enterprises and the existing system can be ultimately guaranteed. Information sharing design of the system is dwelled on in order to integrate the information resources associated with the diversification and ensure the requirements of accuracy, timeliness and security of the information.The system is composed of three components:the internal management system for diversification of the Ministry of Railway, the internal management system for diversification of railway bureaus, and the internal supporting system for diversified business. Based on the analysis of the users’business requests, an introduction to the general function design of the system is made, followed by the detailed presentation of the function design of every sub-system. This thesis, in line with the status quo of railways in China, makes a research into the integrated application of various advanced and mature logistics IT, such as RFID, EDI, GPS and GIS, to the information system for railway multi-product Enterprises, and gives an introduction to the studies on the information system of the railway logistics based on SOA.The research of this thesis has highly practical significance for strengthening the management of non-transport railway enterprises, promoting the overall cohesion and competitiveness of the diversification, extending the service links of customer and cargo transport, and integrating the railway information resources.
