Based On The Supply Chain Jiangling Motor Vehicle Purchasing Management Research

With the development of global integration, the domestic automobile manufacturers face intense competition from international or domestic automotive companies with international background. The complexity and particularity of vehicle determine that a lot of components should be outsourced with, the proportion reaching70%to80%and procurement chain has a huge impact on vehicle costs and profits, as well as the competitiveness of enterprises. How to deal with the auto companies increasingly fierce challenges and seize the opportunities of the rapid development of China’s auto market is an important issues of Jiangling Motors purchasing.This paper’s author worked as buyer in JMC for many years, with these year’s practical experience, by combining the related theory and thought of supplying chains and purchasing management, It elaborates the purchasing management situation of Jiangling Motors CO.,LTD under the environment of supplying chains, and proposes the main problems in the process of the purchasing management, namely, the relationship with important suppliers is not fit for the environment of supplying chains; the system of evaluating suppliers is not so systematic, scientific and targeted; purchasing management system as well as purchasing organization management is not reasonable. And in view of the above problems, the author analyzes the factors to restrict purchasing management from the aspect of JMC’s supplying chain.Finally, It gives improvement strategies for Jiangling Motors procurement management based on supply chain. First, the combination of procurement management theory, it gives full play to the role of supply chain management under procurement management in Jiangling Motors. Through the study of supply chain management, it makes more efficient of JMC procurement activities. Second, the assessment of suppliers promote the optimization of suppliers and more rational and efficient of whole supply chain. Third, for different customers’demand, the supply chain to filter, select a suitable product to match demand and increase the value of the products. Fourth, through the effective control of the entire product development process, it complete the assistance and support of all aspects of demand punctually, qualitative, quantitative. With the series of measures, JMC procurement activities lay a good work of the foundation and reduce costs and enhance the work efficiency during Jiangling procurement process.
