When the rapid developing of Market-oriented Economy, enterprises began to grow into the super main of socio-economic field, and which influence on social development has reached an unprecedented heights.The effect of that is two-sided:On the one hand, enterprises creating an unparalleled material wealth for the community based on the pursuit of profit; On the other hand, enterprises covering up the moral responsibility of them because of unilaterally pursuing the interests, even go against their moral responsibility and cause the tragic events time and time again. To improve moral and ethical status of enterprise has become the important issues that need to be solved in the process of enterprise development in China. As the innovator, inheritor, implementer of the culture and system of enterprise, the benefits coordinator for the stakeholders of enterprise internal and external, guide and executor of fulfilling their social responsibilities, the manager, specificity and necessity of whose moral capital investment is unquestioned in enterprise development. Researching for the relationship of managers moral capital and enterprise performance have great practical significance for the development of enterprises and social.Therefore, according to the need for research purposes and test hypotheses, this paper uses a questionnaire-method, literature research and statistical analysis, selecting the enterprise manager of Hunan Province of C-Z-X city circle as a research object, based on the theory of Human capital, ethical Economics and enterprise performance to explore the relationship between the managers’moral capital and enterprise performance. The article attempts to research the practical significance of moral capital inputs from managers, to balance performance and ethics of enterprise, to correct the bad social effects which brought by demoralization of enterprise, and to explore a effective way to construction of enterprise ethics, and proposed targeted suggestions.The main conclusions are:(1) The level of moral capital changes as stage of enterprise development, enterprises performance in newly founded and recession is low, growth and mature is better;(2) The scale of manager of C-Z-X city circle has three variables which shows varying degrees of influence. The impact of professional ethics on enterprise performance is significant and positive. The degree of influence of personal integrity is descending, as newly founded, mature, growth; while social morality variables for enterprise performance are quite different;(3) In conclusion, the empirical results show varying degrees of difference. In fact, no matter in what stage of enterprise development, the managers are required to have stable moral capital in order to maintain the sustainable development of the enterprise.
