In current society, to adapt and mitigate climate change is the hot topic in fight ofinternational policy and environment diplomacy. Our country’s government takes manyefforts to it, including promoting the form and development of forest carbon sink market.The forest resources in Zhejiang and Jiangxi province are very rich; the farmers are oneof the subjects of forest management. Study the factors that influence farmers’ wish tomanage carbon sink forest from the micro aspect, meanwhile, research and analyze thefactors that impact farmers’ wish to make forest carbon sink trade, which has greatsignificance to make the policies for directing farmers to participate the carbon sink tradeand promote to increase farmers’ incomes.Firstly, this paper combs the development and main policies of domestic andoverseas’ forest carbon sink, and proposes three aspects for our country to use forreference, including strengthening forest management, advancing forestry legislationwork and establishing carbon sink trade platform. Secondly, using statistical methods dodescriptive analysis on the205forester farmers’ survey data, which are collected inZhejiang and Jiangxi province. And use the binary logistic regression model doquantitative analysis on the forester farmers’ wishes to involve in the carbon sinksmanagement. Results shows that through empirical analysis,"head of household’s age”,“forest’s operation scale”,“forester farmers’ incomes share in total”,“whether Massonpine or fir is affordable”,“economics development degree” and other factors havesignificant impacts on the forester farmers’ will in involving carbon sinks management.Based on the above research, the paper presents its recommendations to developforest carbon sinks and guide forester farmers to participate in forest management. Itincludes, firstly, popularizing forest carbon sinks knowledge to improve forester farmers’participation awareness; secondly, do carbon sinks pilot hierarchically and guide foresterfarmers’ to participate step by step; thirdly, strengthen forestry legal construction toprotect forester farmers’ legitimate interests; fourthly, establish a convenient trading platform, simplify the foresters trading processes; fifthly, improve carbon sinks securitysystems and enhance the forester farmers’ management confidence. Finally, deveiop thecarbon sinks’ trade organization of forest farmers, and foster the broker of forest farmer’scarbon sinks trade.
