| In the past, the attentions of developing offshore oil are focused on the productionand safety. Today the cost of the logistics operations has become an important costthat can not be ignored in developing offshore oil. In recent years, the logistics cost ofthe Offshore Oil B Company has been close to20%of the entire company’s annualcost. Besides the rising costs, there are security risks, the low performance of logisticsstaff, the poor planning of logistics management. Based on the features of logisticsmanagement of offshore oil, this article systematically analyzed a series of problemsencountered in the offshore oil B company, putted forward the corresponding solutionsand measures.First the article describes the objectives and content of the logistics management ofoffshore oil, then summarizes the knowledge of the Transport Theory and the SafetyTheory on the logistics management.
