Firstly this thesis introduces the value chain and OEM mode, and describes thebackground of personal computer on politics, economy, geography and humanresource. Under the background of global economic depression, RMB appreciationagainst US dollar, China employing cost rising, key parts supply shortage caused bynatural disasters, severity competition in the market, the global economic environmentis becoming worse. Q Computer Group faces on no brand advantage, high cost, rawmaterial supply chain risk, order wave industry competition and the pressure of laborshortage. Q Computer Group need make active company competitive strategy.For foundry enterprise in the international production chain to its disadvantagefactors, according to Michael potter for value chain theory, puts forward the foundryenterprise possible for the strategy of value chain. Base on the personal computer inthe industry competition intensifies, according to Michael porter’s five competitiveforces model principle of Q Computer Group’s internal and external environment,carries out the SWOT analysis, and points out that the Q Computer Group mustrecognize the existing industry competition situation, customer’s bargaining power,suppliers bargaining power, substitution product or service threat and the threat ofnew entrants five competitive forces, so as to take corresponding competition strategy,in order to improve their own competitiveness. Through the Q Computer Group’s ownability to carry on the analysis, points out the Q Computer Group in customer groupstructure, product design ability and development cycle, manufacturing capacity,product quality and financial cash flow etc., it has a certain advantage. In addition,through the SWOT analysis for the company’s external threats and opportunities andinternal advantages and disadvantages, it is concluded that the Q Computer Groupcompetition strategy: some products branding, product diversification, supply chainvertical integration, innovation development, and quality subsoil. Finally, this thesisexpounds in order to ensure the effective implementation of the competition strategy,Q Computer Group need improve organizational structure, human resourcesmanagement and pay attention to the sustainable development of the company’s investment.This thesis is about the problem definition, the problem analysis and the problemsolving through the theory narration and data analysis. In this thesis, many strategicmanagement tools are used for problem analysis and solving, including Michael pottervalue chain theory, five competitive forces model theory, the SWOT analysis modeltools.
