The mobile communication of Xingtai has many problems in its progress of fast development, of which the most significant one is the layout and construction of a network. The scale of the currant GSM network in China could ensure the coverage of GSM signal in most of the suburb areas, which provides a solid basis for the construction of future TD-SCDMA network, basically the TD-SCDMA network could be constructed using the layout of the GSM network, with TD and GSM base stations covering the same area sharing one machine room.As more and more customers getting access to GSM network, they have been more sensitive to the quality, at the same time, TD-SCDMA network requires more about the sites of TD base stations, thus what is to be dealt with is how to effectively construct TD networks with current GSM base station sites.This paper lays the emphasis on how to construct a large-scale TD network using current recourses constructing a GSM network, thus to reduce the expense, shorten the constructing period, ensure Xingtai mobile to construct its TD network effectively and efficiently, to heighten its competence.Besides, with the carrying through progress of the current strategy "the cooperation of four networks" of Xingtai Mobile, the construction of LTE network has also been put on schedule, the layout method about constructing a new network on the basis of a current one, the demands of new equipments on the current base station sites can also be reference for future layout and construction of LTE network.
