The Study On Bamboo Carving Culture And Tourism Development

China is the hometown of bamboo civilization; the history can be dated back to the Shang dynasty. Various bamboo species and a long history of using and praising bamboo enrich the Chinese nation’s material and spiritual cultural life. As one of the manifestation of bamboo culture, bamboo carving has carried the spiritual content of bamboo. It shows out in its unique form. The content of bamboo carving involves literature, folk, tourism culture and other aspects. With the development of human civilization, of bamboo has turned from a thing for daily use into an article with profound cultural connotation of bamboo, and its social influence continuously fusion is expanding continually, and has been included in China’s intangible cultural heritage.In recent years, bamboo tourism scene in China continues to heat up, the ordinary bamboo forest landscape has failed to meet the diverse needs of tourists, tourists are in pursuit of a soul, with abundant cultural connotation of tourism.. Therefore, which can not only bring people visual enjoyment, but also enhance their cultural taste of bamboo culture has come into being. Bamboo cultural tourism, equipped with cultural, artistic, ornamental and economic value has a high value of tourism development, but still in the basic stage of development and hasn’t been paid much attention to. Also, scenic bamboo cultural tourism development is not mature enough. It’s very important to pay attention to intention of bamboo cultural.Firstly, based on the process of the evolution of bamboo craft, this article detailed round carving, liuqing, fanhuang as well as the weight of them in different historical periods and made a list of them by using different ways. This dissertation divides the bamboo carving history into six stages, including pre-Qin, the Han Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty, the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the recent years, and particularly summarized the special points in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Secondly, with a comprehensive understanding of traditional Chinese bamboo craft, this article further digs the material and spiritual culture in bamboo, studies the form of bamboo products and the impact of traditional Chinese culture, such as Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and so on. Meanwhile, this article combined with history, tourism and other multi-disciplinary theories and methods, analyses the importance of the development of bamboo carving culture tourism.Thirdly, analyze the Chinese present situation and the problems of bamboo culture tourism, and raised a few problems. There’s bamboo tourism landscape everywhere but without digging bamboo carving culture. And there’s several museums but not equipped well. There are a lot of bamboo tourism products, while the level somewhat low, the practical and artistic quality is not perfect. Based on these problems, this paper will do research as a whole with case study, and the combination of the selected the end in Changzhou Liyang Nan Shan park as the representative cases launched in culture area, introduces the present situation and development of the functional partition, analyzes the current lack of the cultural tourism development and tailors a set of plans for its cultural tourism development. Hoping this would do some good to bamboo tourist destination.
