In recent years, with more and more frequent national trade, the status of international freight forwarding companies is becoming increasingly important. Even there is a large number of small and medium-sized international freight forwarding companies emerged in China. There comes an advanced operation mode which would suit for the development of our international freight forwarding business, get overseas strategic alliances to build up global service site. From this, to establish a set of general selection indicators and a scientific evaluation model, to choose overseas strategic alliance, in international freight forwarding business, is necessary and practical.This paper combined theoretical analysis and case study. In theoretical research, via study on strategic alliances and selection, as well as for the understanding of the international freight forwarding industry, it came to organize problems in selecting overseas strategic alliances. According to the international freight forwarding industry characteristics, taking into account the selection factors affecting the alliance performance, we build up a set of general indicator of selecting overseas strategic alliances in the international freight forwarding business. With the existing evaluation methods, Combined AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, there comes the international freight forwarding overseas strategic alliance selection model. In the case study, by analyzing the cases of cross-border cooperation between Dimerco International freight forwarding company and Dart Logistics, it proves general and operability of international freight forwarding companies overseas strategic alliance selection evaluation system. This play a useful tips and reference in the development of small and medium-sized international freight forwarding company in China. The specific content of this paper can be divided into five areas:1. Research review and study.
