Cultural tourism has been the hot spot in the tourism and urban research. With the world going into the era of knowledge economy, using culture and creativity to highlight city features is the way of city development. In order to avoid cultural tourism in tourist destination homogeneity and commercialized, Optimization of urban tourism spatial structure and rational planning of tourism space layout is the inevitable requirement and important tool for the sustainable development of urban tourism.First of all, this study has the concept analysis about the cultural tourism. Secondly, the study takes tourism resources in the centre of Beijing city as the research object, and analysis its tourist attractions in the different types finding Beijing old town tourist attractions spatial distribution type is equilibrium distribution. Finally, explore the spatial evolution processes, and summarized the features of the development of city tourism from a culture-spatial perspective.This study uses the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. And he relevant research literature at home and abroad were reviewed and meticulous combing and induction. And then by using the methods of statistical analysis, spatial analysis, analysis of the study area, basically have the following conclusion:1. Central city in Beijing has rich in culture tourism resources. The cultural tourism resources account for29%of the total tourism resources in Beijing, and98%of the city center of Beijing.2. The urban spatial pattern about the different types of cultural tourism scenic spot is different, and the differences between east and west side. Dongcheng district cultural resources are overall less than xicheng district.3. There are three types of creative tourism space in center of Beijing city:creative spectacles in point or linear shape; creative enclaves in line and plane shape; creative tourism in inclusive cube. The Spatial evolution features include:the creative class product and consumpt goods or services simultaneous; the internal expansion-penetration space evolution model.
