In recent years, with the economic growth, the environment was severely damaged, somany environmental problems arise, such as land desertification, diversity of species reducedand resource depletion and so on. How to balance the economic with environment becomes amajor issue to be addressed in the world. The United States as the world’s largest economy,belongs to the top40in the Global environmental quality ranking. This comes to a conclusionAmerican did a good in balancing economic with environment. Through analyzing Americaneconomy, it found that America stepped in a servicizing economy. The service sector industrybecomes the most important one, compared to Agriculture and Industry. It is true that thedevelopment of the U.S. services sector provides the impetus for the sustainable developmentof the U.S. society.The thesis analyze the development of the U.S. service sector from the perspective of theecological environment. It found that U.S. service development benefits to environment too.In the paper, comparative study and empirical method are used to analyze the eco-effect ofU.S. service. It found that the per unit of service output is less resource-intensive than that ofAgriculture and Industry. So the development of the service sector is conducive to the circulareconomy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of per unit output. Overall, thedevelopment of the U.S. services sector improves material efficiency and coordinateseconomic development with environment-protection in United States.In this paper, the deep-seated contribution of service sector is dig out and the researchfield of services extends from perspective of economic to that of ecologic. In the paper,concern is focused on the quantitative analysis between services and resource utilization rate,waste resource utilization rate, green gas emission of per GDP, which brings a moreComprehensive understanding of service industry development and its practical significance.
