Modern corporation is established as an economic organization where natural person can rationally share market risks. The core competitiveness of modern corporation has developed from the primary stage in which is competing for natural resources and capital, to the a higher level in which is competing for technology resources, even for human resources. Particularly with speeding up of forming a information-based society, the widely use of advanced technology in many industries, substantially increasing of specialists’ knowledge, stimulating the potential of human resources development and management now is a significant key to the success of corporations. Therefore, human resources is the prior resource for a company, which directly determines a company’s competitiveness. How to employ personnels meets its development demand? How to employ personnels with high performance? How to identify employers who adapt to its corporate culture and management concept? All of those are problems which corporations highly concern about.Salary administration system, as a subsystem of human resources management system, conveys the value guidance of corporations, expresses approval to employees’ works with salaries, attracts needed talents, thereby achieving win-win for both corporations and their employees. The pay system reform is the breakthrough point of institutional innovation. A rational salary system is an important way to attract talents and stimulate employees, also an major approach to improve management and achieve innovation of service and management system.The wage distribution restructuring is an important measure to implement corporations’ mid-and long-term development strategies, an important content of carrying out national distribution policies and building harmonious distributive relationship, and an inevitable requirement of maintaining corporations’ harmony and stability. This thesis, in accordance with current situation of company A, analyzes severals problems existing in present salary system there, then, under the distributive concept of setting salaries according to position, readjusting salaries when position changes, getting paid according to performance, with optimizing approaches like post wage system, performance exam system and etc, works out a new pay system which is rational, fairness with internal and external competitive, has a sound encouragement effect, and retain core talents.
