The power industry is the sustained and healthy development of basic industries, is the guarantee of the people’s living standards improve, so far, China’s electric power business executives performance appraisal does not reflect its particularity, its performance evaluation theory and research are also atAt a lower level, although the starting point to reflect the performance of senior managers in corporate performance alone is entirely correct, but there are still a lot of deficiencies. Senior management level of performance reflected in the electricity business management process level, is a very important factor affecting business performance, is to protect the efficient operation of the enterprise, scientific and orderly operation, maintain excellent survival and development important management behavior. Is crucial for the improvement of the power business performance. Therefore, we must put on the performance evaluation of executives as business management, strategic development is an important task.In this paper, based on the current research results and methods of the power industry compensation management, to Funeng Power Generation Group for the study, the use of the method of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, along the trends of the modern salary management, according to the characteristics of China’s electric power industry and pay system management status electric power enterprise managers pay system design methods. Depth discussions on the theoretical basis for the design of executive compensation management system; mainly through literature, research, interviews with staff and empirical analysis, focusing on the analysis of the problems that exist in the original Funeng Power Generation Group executive compensation management system, by drawing on successful incentive mechanism and the experience of the pay system, and combined with the characteristics of our human resources and future strategic direction of the original pay system of Funeng Power Generation Group to improve, mainly from the post optimization based salary assessment, the establishment of performance appraisal to start the development of new the pay system programs, and with corporate strategy and organizational structure to match. In order to meet the needs of enterprise development of China’s electric power, provide operational executive compensation incentive model, and clear the direction of development of the electric power enterprise incentive mechanism.
