Research Of Endogenous Growth Mechanism On Industrial Transformation Of The Resource-based Area

Due to resource endowment and historical reasons, as well as national policy-oriented, the economic growth and development of Shanxi mainly depends on investment and resources. Gradually formed a single industrial structure, primary processing of products based product structure, the proportion of secondary industry is too large, coal, coke, metallurgical and electric industries accounted for more than80%of the total industrial output value, eventually lead to serious industrial convergence. The same time, because the resource-based industries crowding out the various factors of production, hindering the accumulation of human capital. Lead to a serious shortage of endogenous motivation about the region’s development, such as scientific&technological progress and innovation. From another perspective, the long-term dependence on coal and other resource-based industries, resulting in serious environmental pollution, ecological damage and resource waste, which are seriously affecting the sustainable economic development of Shanxi. Under the situation of policy support for comprehensive reform pilot area, Shanxi should seize the opportunity to establish endogenous growth mechanism of industrial transformation, shift from reliance on coal and other resources to rely on innovation, technology, talented person and other factors to stimulate economic development.The research on endogenous growth mechanism of industrial restructuring in resource-based region, can not only enrich the study of mechanism and path of resource-based industrial transformation, but also have great practical significance for Shanxi and other resource-based areas. This thesis take Shanxi province for example, established on domestic and foreign synthesis and related concepts of resource-based regional industrial restructuring mechanism and path, put industry life cycle theory, path dependency theory, innovation theory and complex systems theory as the foundation, inquire into the endogenous growth mechanism of resource-based industrial transformation which take innovation as the core, take technology and innovation as the inherent driving force. The basic idea of this mechanism is innovation of resourceâ†'innovation of productâ†'innovation of marketâ†'industrial innovationâ†'regional innovation, that is a upgrade progressive mechanism, its main contents content deepening resources innovation, promoting product innovation, promoting market innovation, strengthening industrial innovation and improving regional innovation. On the basis of this mechanism, combined with the practical experience of regional economic growth at home and abroad, summed up four paths of resource-based regional industrial transformation, each path has its own scope. Different resource-based regions should select the appropriate path according to their regional characteristics. Eventually, on the basis of the above discussion, I give advices on industrial transformation of Shanxi province.
