The social responsibility of the iron and steel enterprises needs to build a comprehensive evaluation from the economic, social,cultural and environaspects of the enterprise.corporate responsibility performance across enterprises to enhance their competitiveness, a strong driving force for achieving sustainable development.Based on the iron and steel enterprises as the research Angle of view,according to thestudy of the current steel industry present situation and the steel enterprise’s owncharacteristics, the paper works out a set of steel enterprise social responsibility forevaluation index system, It provides a theory and technical support for the steel enterprisesocial responsibility construction and development. The thesis consists of6chapters:Chapter1is Introduction．This chapter is an introduction that addresses researchbackground and its significance．methodology,framework as well as innovation of thisresearch．Chapter2is Literature review.this paper as to set base for the following study,mainly including those aspects:enterprise social responsibility theory and stakeholdertheory, the study on evaluation of responsibility from home and abroad.Chapter3shows Iron enterprise’s characteristics, status and social responsibilitypresent situation, Then based on the stakeholder theory and the characteristics of ironenterprise determine the stakeholders，Finally，points out the main content of China ironCorporations’Corporate Society Responsibility．Chapter4mainly illustrates the establishment process of evaluation indicatorssystem.The thesis focuses on the principle of choosing the criteria system, key performance indicators (KPI) identification,the hierarchy of evaluation index system andevaluation model.Chapter5shows an application scenario for the corporation society responsibilityappraisal model. Based on the data, the thesis has taken the Baosteel as an example toapplicate the performance evaluation indicator system to practice to further validation ofthis appraisal model of rationality, and based on the the results of the analysis, the thesisputs forward to enhance the iron and steel enterprise social responsibility suggestion.Chapter6is conclusion.The author summarizes the research results of this paper,analyzes the deficiency of this article, and puts forward further research suggestions andin the light of the problems in the course of study.This paper aims to attract more attention of steel enterprise’s social responsibility andprovides a research basis for evaluation of steel enterprise social responsibility.
