Organizational narcissism is a kind of organizational characteristics which is important and complex. Organizational narcissism is based on the narcissism in psychology. It extends and complements the description of organizational characteristics. This research collect data from staffs and managers in enterprises and institutions in Guangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai and other8provinces, autonomous region and municipalities directly under the central government by questionnaires. This research uses exploratory factor analysis, statistical method of confirmatory factor analysis, variance analysis, regression analysis and so on. The theoretical model of organizational narcissism has been constructed and verified. This research also explored the influence of organizational culture on organizational narcissism and the effect of organizational narcissism on organizational performance and employee loyalty. It found those results.1. Organizational narcissism is a three-dimension structure model which includes arrogance, communicative behavior, and self admiration.2. Organizations with different kinds of nature、size、area、industry are different in different dimensions of organizational narcissism.3. Bureaucratic culture impacts on organizational narcissism and its dimensions significantly and positively. Innovative culture has a significant negative impact on the communicative behavior. While, innovation culture has no significant effect on the organizational narcissism.4. The impact of organizational narcissism on organizational performance is not significant. While, each dimension of organizational narcissism has significant negative impact on employee affective and normative commitment. Arrogance and communicative behavior have a significant positive effect on continuance commitment.
