Research On The Value Drivers Of Thermal Power Enterprise

In recent years, based on the phenomenon that Value-based management theory being widely disseminated over the world,State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) pay more attention to emphasis on value creation management and lead the state-owned enterprise change the development mode to the value oriented mode. Electric power industry is the basic industry in our country, it is in relation to the development of national economy and social stability. The development of the clean energy has transform the electric power structure to be a diversified-pattern, thermal power enterprise business is facing a sever challenge.If our thermal power enterprise want to achieve a considerable progress we must transform our developing mode and management thinking.In this article,we study and analysis the value creation reason of thermal power enterprise, regarding value creation drivers of thermal power enterprise as the core, being based on the characteristics of its production and business and from the start with the value characteristic of thermal power enterprise.First of all, we start with the basic theory of value management and make a comprehensive definition to the content of value and make clear about thermal power enterprise’s value proposition and value orientation.Second, this article put forward a systematic analysis of value driving factors in thermal power enterprise with the orientation of EVA,based on the value characteristic analysis of thermal power enterprise and in view of the problems exist in the manage process of value driving factors of thermal power enterprise, it’s emphasis is the major factors infect the value creation of thermal power enterprise.Thirdly,on the basis of value driving factors, this article also put forward a value promotion basic strategy for the thermal power enterprise and set up a basic framework of value management system for thermal power enterprise. The conclusion of this article not only provide a theory basis for the construction work of value management system in thermal power enterprise, but also can be regarded as a theory and idea guidance for value management system construction in other power generation enterprise.
