With the development of economy and culture, women’s life and workingenvironmentance have attracted lots of attention. Women now are given almost equaldevelopment platform as their male eounterparts. More and more women have beenmemembers of manager team. But this can not deny the fact that with the increase ofsenior manager, there are fewer female figures. The term "glass ceiling" was used todescribe invisible barriers in the career development process. Although the term"glass ceiling" was created over twenty years ago, but worldwidely, women’s careerstill suffered the "glass ceiling".So far, the fields of study related to the perception of the glass ceiling are mostlyin politicians, educators or rural areas, more research mainly focused onwomenthemselves issues. There are few study on the perception of glass ceiling in thejoint-stock commercial bank. With the globalization of world economy, thecompetition in banking market is intensifing.The outstanding talent and steady streamof human resources can improve the competitiveness of the joint-stock banks. InChina’s joint-stock commercial banks, the methods of human resources managementare basically the same as traditional personnel management, human resourcesmanagement, there still exists several problems, such as single interior way,unclear.careerdevelopmnet path. This paper, based on the theory of perception of theglass ceiling bring the perception of the glass ceiling into the field of joint-stockcommercial banks.,with the female employees of the joint-stock commercial banks asthe research object, raise some possible influence factors of the perception of the glassceiling,through an investigation,and analyze the collected data through SPSS software.They include the reliability analysis, validity analysis, factor analysis and regressionanalysis. Study on the influence factors of the perception of the glass ceiling, sum upthe factors, study the importance degree of these factors.,inorder to give theimprovement suggestions.The results of the study show that, organizational culture, systems and femalepersonal qualities are the biggest impacting factors. Traditional view of family andsocial environment for women’s career development is not prominent factors in the joint-stock commercial banks. Through research, we identified areas that needimprovement, targeted to reduce the generation of the glass ceiling phenomenon,which has a very important practical significance.
