Lineage Force Of Water Conservancy Society In Shanxi From Qing Dynasty

This thesis studies the lineage force of Water Conservancy Society in Fenhe River Basin. It shows that the lineage force plays an important role in development of Regional Society, especially in development of water conservation. In addition, the thesis helps to alter the "academic bias" that northern lineage forces are weak and disrupt, and key elements are incomplete.(if this bias does exist). Can not only see the commonalities and differences of the South and North China regional social,and for a reasonable explanation of the historical change of Chinese rural society of great significanceWhen water conservation is the most important survival means for local society, lineage will endeavor to seek the height of the water conservancy union and make own power embedded in it. In this process, lineage will try to be the actual controller and interests distributor. However, as an important survival means in traditional society, water conservancy is replaced by new equipment or appears declining trend, even dies out in modern times. Therefore the transformed villages driven by modern enterprises will keep moving. Conversely, without the survival means, the other villages get into difficulties and even hesitate to move forward.According to the development about the lineage force of Water Conservancy Society in Fenhe River Basin from Qing Dynasty to now, water conservancy, which is a vital survival means of an era, has interacted with lineage. Water conservancy has a strong impact on the development of lineage. Meanwhile, with the help of great lineage, water conservancy can be established and promoted. Above all, both of them affected with each other and have their own development tracks respectively. Period discussed in this thesis is when the relationship between lineage and water conservancy was the closest. Therefore we can see that lineage and water conservancy can adapt and promote each other. Furthermore, country, village and other factors should be taken into account in this thesis so that we can know their relationship better and clearer. Only then can really jump out lineage understanding lineage, jump out of the water conservancy understanding water conservancy. This thesis is a new try on the basis of the previous studies on history research of Water Conservancy Society.Comparatively speaking, thoughts about lineage are immature and the author should continue to study it intensively. But the author believes that such a perspective is helpful to study lineage and history research of Water Conservancy Society.
