Online tourism has become one of the China’s development of the earliest and most fully competitive industry. Face the harsh competitive environment, how to formulate and successful implementation of competitive strategy in line with its own characteristics, in order to build a unique competitive advantage for enterprises has a very important practical significance.ELong is a leader in the tourism e-commerce enterprises, it gets rid of continuous loss successfull, has made remarkable achievements in the industry. What makes eLong successfully reversed?This article will analyze the main reason for the success of eLong-differentiated strategy in detail. This paper first describes the tourism e-commerce development status and competitive strategy theory, describes the overview of the course of development of eLong. And then with a strategic management tool discusses the the eLong macro market environment of the industries in which, the eLong strengths and weaknesses and threats opportunities, as well as eLong the competitive situation.
