In the domestic software industry, nearly90%enterprises are small and medium-sized enterprises, and most of them are project-based enterprises, they all encountered problems during actual project operation process due to the unreasonable requirement management method, which also seriously influenced the project progress. Company A as a NMS software company was established in the late1990s and has developed to a medium-sized enterprise so far, it also encountered the problem of requirements management inevitably, with the company scale constantly expanding and increasing competition in the market, the introduction of scientific and effective requirements management method has become essential.This paper studies the "Use Case Approach" which is widely used in a large number of software projects and generally considered to be an effective method of software requirements management, and obtain Company A’s actual requirements problem by interviews and questionnaires, put forward a requirements management improvement proposal based on use case approach; and select an independent project of the Company A for empirical analysis. The results showed that the method had a significant effect on requirements management.Finally, the promotion of requirement management improvement process base on use case approach in domestic software enterprises is discoursed briefly.
