| When the organizational behavior has been deeply influenced by the development of the positive psychology, there are two important concepts-Psychological capital (PsyCap) and Job involvement in the study of positive organizational behavior. Meanwhile, Perceived organizational support (POS) is the hotspot of modern human resource management. So from the viewpoint of the organizations and the individuals, this paper puts the three variables (perceived organizational support, psychological capital and job involvement) in a frame to study, in order to improve the level of incentive employee morale and work efficiency. In the field of psychology and management, very few studies research logistics staff. Based on previous in-depth interviews and the first investigation, a total of300participants were tested, including226recycling valid questionnaires finally. The research tool is a questionnaire including four parts:the enterprise staff demographics questionnaire, the questionnaire of PsyCap (the Chinese version of PCQ-24) by Luthans (2007), revised survey of perceived organizational support by Chen (1996) and the job engagement scale by Kanungo (1982). This study used Independent-Sample t test or one-way ANOVA to examine the effect of demographical variables on three variables. And then it adopted analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) methods to examine the influence mechanism, which was the intermediary effect of PsyCap on the relationship between POS and job involvement. Finally, the article expounded the theoretical contributions and makeed suggestions about organizational management practice. The following results revealed that:Firstly, some significant differences in age and marital status had been found on employee’s PsyCap. The department had a marked difference on POS. There were significant differences of job involvement in age, marital status and hiring time.Secondly, for logistics staff, perceived organizational support, psychological capital and job involvement had positive interrelated relationships between each other. Tools support had a very significant influence on Psycap and its four dimensions; both tool and emotion support had significant influences on employee’s job involvement; self-efficacy, resilience and optimism, belonging to Psycap, had significant influences on job involvement; after controlling for the demographic variables, both POS and PsyCap had very significant influences on employee’s job involvement.Thirdly, POS predicted job involvement efficiently through PsyCap. PsyCap played a part mediation role between POS and job involvement, instead of a fully mediating effect. |
