With the rapid growth of economic and society, managers recognize thatpsychological capital is the crucial source of obtaining competitive advantage for theenterprise. How to improve psychological capital of employee and make efforts forthe organization has become an important question. Researchers found that jobburnout is the important outcome variables of perceived organizational support andpsychological capital, and they are respectively crucial factors of job burnout.On the basis of reviewing substantial literature, employees as the object, this studyused questionnaires to carry out related research. The purpose of this study is to verifythe relationship between perceived organizational support, psychological capital andjob burnout, and the mediating effect of psychological capital. This sample includes496employees from10organizations in Shenzhen, Changsha, Hengyang and Baise.Results are found as follows:(1) Perceived organizational support positively correlated with psychologicalcapital, and so as each dimension, especially work support and confidence.(2) Perceived organizational support positively correlated with job burnout,especially value recognition and low professional personal accomplishment.(3) Psychological capital positively correlated with job burnout, and so as eachdimension, especially hope and emotional exhaustion.(4) Psychological capital has completely mediating effect between perceivedorganizational support and job burnout relationship. In each dimension, confidencehas completely mediating effect respectively between perceived work support andemotional exhaustion and work slight and interests care, hope has completelymediating effect between perceived work support and emotional exhaustion. Inaddition, the dimension of psychological capital has intermediary effect in all levels ofperceived organizational support and job burnout relationship.
