With the rapid growth of economic and rapid development of society, more and more managers recognize that employee engagement is the important source of obtaining organizational performance and achieving competitive advantage for the enterprise. How to improve employee engagement and inspire employees to further efforts for the organization has become an important and difficult. Related theoretical results show that employee engagement is the important outcome variables of perceived organizational support and psychological capital, and organizational support and psychological capital are respectively important external and internal factors of employee engagement. Therefore, this paper study that perceived organizational support influence employee engagement by changing the level of psychological capital, and we can enhance employee engagement by intervening such a mechanism. This paper first has reviewed the theory of perceived organizational support, psychological capital and employee engagement, clarified the various dimensions of the perceived organizational support, employee engagement and the various elements of the psychological capital, and proposed this analytical framework and hypotheses of this thesis. Then, the writer has tested the proposed research hypotheses with independent sample T test, correlation analysis, regression analysis.The results show that:perceived organizational support, psychological capital and the engagement differ in demographic variables such as gender, age, education, position, working time and salary, etc.; The study results also show that perceived organizational support and psychological capital are positively correlate with employee engagement, and they can effectively predict employee engagement; In addition, the results also show that psychological capital is the intermediary variable between perceived organizational support and psychological capital.Based on the results, this paper proposes management strategies to improve employee engagement, provides some guidance for enterprise managers. In practice, enterprises should pay attention to employees by improving the perception of organizational support. At the same time, enterprises can selectively develop psychological capital of staff to improve employee engagement.
